| Youth held with banned injections | | | early times report
JAMMU, June 3: A youth was today arrested by police from the General Bus Stand area here along with 235 injections of banned drugs. He was identified as Rakesh Kumar of Prem Nagar. Police sources said he was arrested along with the injections by cops during routine frisking of pedestrians near Bus Stand in the morning. As he was found under the influence of drugs, he was taken by cops to the GMC hospital for treatment, the sources added. Sources said when he regained senses in the evening, he told police that he had purchased the injections from Punjab. A police team was likely to be despatched to Punjab for action against the chemists who were selling banned drugs unauthorisedly, the sources added.
