| Jagrati Manch holds meet, discuss problems | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 3: A deputation of J&K OBC Jagrati Manch is going to meet the chief minister Omar Abdullah at Srinagar and will apprise him about the various burning problems confronting the downtrodden people of the state. As per press release this decision was taken at a meeting OBC Manch chaired by its president Mandan Lal chalotra. He said that it was during the last assembly and parliament elections the OBC people of the state voted for the present coalition government with the hope that after formation of government the long pending demands of OBC will be solved, but till date he said nothing has been done. Further he said Govt. has pleased the people by nominating a vice chairman of newly constructed OBC dev. Board but the person who is nominated is not well versed with the problems of the OBC people with the result the real motive of the Govt. has not full filled. The OBC Jagriti Manch has given one moth time to the vice chairman OBC Dev. Board for redressing the demands form the Govt. otherwise the OBC people has no other alternative to appeal to the Govt. for replacing the present appointed Vice chairman of the said board.
