| Surprise checking by DC Doda | | Head clerk suspended | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
DODA, June 3: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Farooq Ahmed Khan today paid surprise visit to the Government offices of Ghat Block in District Doda.
The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by the Chief Planning Officer, Doda Sh. Yasir Balwan.
The DDC inspected the offices of the Block Development Officer and Zonal Educational Officer Block Ghat.
During the inspection of ZEO office Ghat , ZEO and one head clerk was placed under suspension by the DDC for unauthorized absence while show cause notice was issued against a Junior Assistant for being absent with out prior sanction of leave.
The DDC gave strong directions to the officers and officials to ensure their punctuality in their respective offices.
He enjoined upon them to carry out their duties with devotion, dedication and professionalism and reach out to the people for timely redressal of their grievances.
