JAMMU, June 4: Nine persons were today fined for smoking at public places in violation of the law which prohibits smoking at any public place. They were found smoking in Majalta, Manwal and Battal areas of Udhampur during surprise checking by a team of government officials, according to police sources. A fine of Rs 250 was realised from them, the sources added.
