| Hang Guru: BJP mahila morcha | | | Jammu,October 17 : Activists of Bhartiya Janta Party Mahila Morcha on Tuesday torched effigies of chief Minister GhulamNabi Azad, his predecessors Mufti Mohd Sayeed and DrFaroq Abdullah along with Mohd Afzal guru after taking out large procession in the old city.
The procession lead by Surekha Chaudhari,President of Mahila Morcha started from party office and passed through main bazaars of Jammu city and culminated near civil secretariat building.
Through out the procession, activists of mahila morcha raised slogans opposing clemency pleas and demanded that those opposing hanging of Parliament attack convict are not patriots and should also be punished.
Large number of state BJP leaders including state BJP President Dr Nirmal Singh, former BJP MLA Ashok Khajuria and others were present on the occasion. |
