| Rozadars feel inconvenience due to unscheduled power cuts | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | OCT 17 The senior PDP leader Shakir Saddiqui has expressed concerned over the unscheduled power cuts in the Kishtwar town and its adjoining area during the holy month of Ramadan. In a press statement issued here today, Saddiqui said that Rozadars and Namazies are feeling great inconvenience because of the non-availability light in the streets and houses, particularly during night hours. He further said that a deputation led by him already called on the concerned executive engineer of the power division, but so far no action has been taken. He said that many power transformers installed in the area in defunct position and in this connection concerned engineers have been asked for repairs but engineers have shown inability for the repairs for want of the requisite funds. He asked the authorities to sanction necessary funds for repairs of transformers. He also appealed the concerned authorities to make available all essentials on the occasion of Dipawali and Eid festivals.
