| 33% Census Field Work Completed | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 7: In a review meeting of ongoing first phase of census 2011 held at the office of commissioner Jammu Municipal corporation chaired by Mubark Singh it was revealed that census work is going on satisfactorily within the areas of Jammu Municipal corporation and till date about 33% of the census field work, has already been completed by the supervisors and enumerators present in the meeting apprised about some of the problems being faced by them were discussed in the meeting and necessary instruction to this effect were conveyed to the concerned. Further, it is conveyed that adequate schedules for census to field operations be made available in Jammu Municipal Corpor-ation for distribution among the field staff as per their requirements. The Muni-cipal authorities have asked all the Master Trainers to remain present in their allotted wards for supervising the field operations. It was also brought to the notice of the census authorities to provide funds to meet out the day to day expenses made by the Jammu Municipal Corporation for conducting training programmes, distribution of orders and materials to the field functionaries and other miscellaneous expenses. It was assured by Joint Chief Principal census Officer, J&K C.S Saproo that the funds will be provide after a few days. Among others present in the meeting were Jt commissioners Babu Ram, Balwant Rai and officers from census department.
