Early Times Report JAMMU, June 7: Showing rare act of honesty, the personnel of General Railway Police (GRP) has found belongings worth about Rs 8 lakhs including cash, bank drafts, jewellery, and important documents in Jhelum Express and contacted its owner to hand over here today. Addressing the media persons, SSP Railway, Jammu Vijay Kumar informed that an army personal Puran Singh, resident of Sadah, district Mandi in Himachal Pradesh after retirement from army was on his way to his home in Jhelum Express, misplaced his suit case. The suitcase has been recovered at Jammu Railway Station June 6, 2010 by the officials of GRP Jammu under the supervision of SSP Railway; Jammu showing on exemplary act of honesty recovered the suit case. The suitcase contained the valuable things including Golden ornaments worth Rs 100000, Retire-ment documents, pension book, academic certificates, Bank draft (PNB) worth Rs Ninety Two Thousands Six Hundred Fifty, Bank draft (PNB) worth Rs Six lac Seventy Two Thousands Three Hundred Fifty Three, Cash of Rs 750, ATM cards, Smart cards, Vijay Kumar further said that the owner has been contacted telephonically and was asked to collect the articles ornaments etc from PS GRP Jammu.
