| Glowing tributes paid to Hav. Tarachand | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

Befitting tributes were paid to Saheed Hav. Tarachand Lakhotra of 4th JAK Rifle at a solemn function organized to observe his 3rd Saheedi Diwas at village Khour Slaria, block Vijaypur.
Saheed HAv Tarachand laid down his life while fighting with Pak army in ‘Parikrama Operation’ on October 17, 2003 in Sunderbani sector.’
The function was organized by Hav. Tarachand Memorial Institute Committee. A large number of people including retired and active servicemen, political leaders and prominent persons of the area were present. Close family members of the Saheed comprising his father Babu Ram, mother Preeto Devi, wife Biaso Devi, uncles Capt. Sudagar Mal, Sub. Bachan Lal and Bahadar Chand also paid homage.
