| ‘Mahabhoj’ staged at National Theatre festival | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | OCT 17 Natrang’s Dogi Play ‘Mahabhoj’ achieved the distinction for being first Non- Hindi play featured in Vivechena’s 13th National Theatre festival held at Jabalpur. According to press release twenty member team of Natrang returned after the successful presentation of the play in country’s one of the most prestigious theatre which featured top six plays of India. The other plays included Maya Jaal, Hamse Tumse Payar Kaun Karega, Kallu Nai MBBS, Lok Baad, and Apana to Aisa Hi Hai presented by the teams from Mumbai, Allahabad, Delhi Raipur, and Bhopal. For unique experimentation and innovation in direction, Balwant Thakur the director of Natrang has brought a historic honour for Dogri thratre and language by making it to the first regional language of the country to reach to such heights. All the lovers of cultural have hailed this unique achievement of Natrang for Dogri.
