| Illegal Khoia plant seized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

A team a legal metrology dept. seized plant used in manufacturing ‘ Khoia’ illegally at Barnai today.
As per reports a team led by Asst Controlleer, amar Singh during checking in the area found a plant manufacturing Khoia illegally and adding some chemicals during the preparations. The officer immediately informed the police and arrested seven persons on spot, beside seized the plant.
During interrogation the arrested persons told that they had come from Delhi and were preparing Khoiafor businessman who had a office at Hari-Market. They further said, daily they used to prepare 4 to 5 qts.
Whiel Talking to ‘Early Times’ on phone, the Asstt Controller Amar Singh said with the help of police, plant has been put under look.
