Anti encroachment drive launched

Kathua, June 10: As per the direction of the Deputy Commissioner of Kathua Sanjeev Verma the additional deputy commissioner M Raju and tehsildar Avtaar Singh along with entire team including Municipal Councilor pave a surprise visit in market from Kalibari to Kathua to check encroachment made by the shopkeepers. On the occasion municipal council ceased the material placed out of the fixed parameter of the shop. Tehsildar Avtaar Singh advised shopkeepers to leave practice of encroaching the public place and keep way clear and wide to common man through which the growing number of accidents can be stopped to occur. He said that anti encroachment drive would continue and if any shopkeeper found practiced same should not be spared.
