Police intensifies vigil on Diwali

Police has intensified the security measures in the area, keeping in view the upcoming Diwali festival. Briefing the Early Times, about the security procedures, SDPO, Ajeet Singh Salaria, said that they are maintaining a strict vigil over the areas like Arnia, Miran Sahib and Dablehar, in order to abandon any mishap around the festival. He further said that consumption of alcohol and Gambling would not be allowed i9n the public places.
“The festival is a holy festival and it must be celebrated with out harming the sanctity of the festival”. He has also appealed to the common masses of the area to cooperate the administration to maintain peace and religious fervor intact.
