| NCP celebrate foundation day | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 10: Addressing the workers of Nationalist congress Party (NCP) on the occasion of 12th foundation day celebration of the party its state chief and ex. Minister Thakur Randhiv Singh explained the relevance of NCP and the role being played by the president Sharad Pawar at National party of the country within a small span of time. Singh said in a short span of time ministries like agriculture civil aviation and rural development headed by Sharad Pawar, Praful Patel and Km. Agutha Sangma have made tremendous contributions towards the economic growth and development of the country. He also impressed upon NCP cadre in the state to reach at the grass root level in the rural areas the state with amphasis on education, technology and employment. Singh said it is extremely pertinent to study the "Baramati Model" which is greatly admired by the Prime Minster Dr. Manmohan Singh, by citing it as an example to be adopted for the transformation of India and to be replicated, architecture by party president Sharad pawar. He Further said the celebrations will continue for 10 days from 10th June to 20th June during this period of celebrations was organize wide campaign to explain to the people the relevance of the party in the country. Singh said the NCP will maintain its separate identity as a National party and will continue to raise the burning issues like rampant corruption, ecology and environment degradation, scarcity of drinking water in Jammu region and the party will have the strong instruments to participate in the governance process. He also appealed to the chief Minister, Omar Abdullah to adopt Baramati Model of development which he has visited many times and offered his cooperation.
