Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 10: Desh Rattan Pandita, President All Migrants Camp Coordination Committee (AMCCC) termed terrorism in Kashmir and Naxalism in north east as nothing but a creation of Indian politicians. He demanded that Government of India should constitute a commission of enquiry on the pattern of Sri Krishna Commission of Maharashtra for finding the reasons behind uprooting of Kashmir Pandit community besides elements responsible for establishing terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
He also demanded a thorough enquiry from 1980 to 1990,so that sincerity of government can be established. "It is shameful for Indian nation having capable and competent defence which failed to provide security of life, honour, property of exiled community.
"We are constrained to say that Indian constitution is a ferrous and articles of protection of life and property have been rendered useless" Pandita said and added that "We reject policies and programmes of Government of India because they have never proved fruitful for us and only a section including politicians, bureaucrats, big officials, big businessmen or industrialists areliving life as humane in the country and other common masses are dying like insects and those who survive thereafter are being crushed by none other than these rulers from time to time.
Pandita said that India has cheated a Kashmiri Pandits community for the sake of Kashmir territory from last sixty two years.
He alleged that community is being crushed by Government of India and leaders of ruling parties in state from time to time. "Since 1947 Indian flag was flying in Kashmir Valley because of them and now from the last twenty years it is a great problem for government of India to make the tri-colour unfurling without security. Every Independence Day and Republic Day after the community was forced to exile, it is now being celebrated as a black days" he added that Government of India has failed in protecting the lives of ethnic minorities like Kashmiri Pandits in Valley.
Lambasting Indian government and successive state governments, Pandita asked that even if a family dies of accident government orders probe then why should they had not registered a single FIR to probe exile of Pandits.
Enough is enough, hundreds of Kashmiri Pandits were killed, property worth billions and billions was looted and young women were mass raped and then butchered, who will enquire all these issues" he said and warned that "if Muslims in Kashmir, Naxals north east and all other miscreants are important for Indian state, then Kashmiri Pandits shouls have no objection to opt for similar procedure to save its species" he said and added that Indian state shouls not forget that Kashmir Pandit community has produced two prime ministers besides patriotic like P.N Haksar, D.P Dhar, P.N Dhar and T.N Koul who architected india time to time for its strong nationhood. Others who were present include S.K Kaul, Ravinder Raina, J.L Raina, A.K Tickoo, Jatinder Dhar, Rattan Lal Sharma, Kanya Lal Pandita, Ashok Kumar Sharma and Jawahar Lal Raina.
