SRINAGAR, June 10: In exercise of the powers under provisions of Rule 219 (1), 327-A and 327-B of the Rules of procedure and conduct of Business in Jammu and Kashmir Council, Deputy Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir, Legislative Council, S. Arvinder Singh Micky today constituted various Committees afresh. These included General Purpose Committee, Committee on Privileges, Committee on Subordinate Legislation, Committee on Government Assurance, House Committee, Committee on Petitions, Library Committee, Rules Committee, Ethics Committee, ommittee on Environment and Department Related Committee.
Deputy Chairman, shall be the Ex-officio Chairman of General Purpose, House and Library Committees while MLC, Ajat Shatru Singh, B. R. Kundal, Vijay Bakaya, Amrit Malhotra, S. Trilochan Singh Wazir, Bashir Ahmad Magray, Mohammad Rashid Qureshi, Abdul Gani Vakil and Ajay Kumar Sadhotra will be the Chairmen of Committee on Privileges, Committee on Subordinate Legislation, Committee on Government Assurance, Committee on Petitions, Ethics Committees, Committee on Environment and Department Related Committee respectively.
