| JMC standing committee on sanitation hold meet | | | JAMMU OCT-17- Standing Committee on health and sanitation of Jammu Municipal Corporation, which met here today, took some far- reaching decisions.
The meeting presided over by the Vijay Malhotra Chairman of the committee decided to organize awareness camps to educate people about the hygiene and to improve sanitary conditions with public participation for which the dates would be announced shortly.
Directions were also passed on to all the concerned to keep special check on sweet and meat shops and ensure sale of fresh sweets Special emphasis was laid on cleanliness particularly on the main chowks and sprinkling of lime.
G C Bhagat, Joint Commissioner, Dr K D Singh, Health Officer, Dr. Bharti, MVO, Attar Singh CTO, R C Bhatti Law Officer and Rajesh Gupta Secretary JMC attended the meeting among others.
