JAMMU , June 13: Ex-corporator, Rashida Begum has sought CM’s intervention in the pensioner benefit scheme for widows, old age people, BPL and handicapped of Gujjar Nagar, Bawe Wali Gali and Prem Nagar areas. Beneficiaries of scheme are almost 400 people. BPL ration cards had been issued one and a half year back but nothing has been done, people are suffering badly for want of pension. Begum urged upon CM to intervene into the high headed approach of social welfare department. She will come on road if their demands are not met.
