| District administration reviewed sensing scenario | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, June 13: Deputy Director K.P.Singh from office of Registrar General of India, Balwant Rai from census department has conducted a meeting in office of Deputy Commissioner Kathua under the chairmanship of M. Raju IAS Additional deputy commissioner. Tehsildar, Executive officer, Executive officer Lakhanpur, Distt.co-coordinator Babu Ram Sharma, and Kuldeep Raj from Tehsil office Hiranagar, Supervisors & enumerators of ward no.2, ward no.15, supervisors of village Janglote Chak Gutta also participated in the meeting.
K.P.Singh has reviewed the progress of wards of municipal councils and villages of Tehsil. It was told that more than50% work of House listing and NPR (National Population Register) has been completed in the district. Additional Deputy Commissioner assured in the meeting that this census work will be completed by the end of this month. He also issued the instructions to the supervisors / enumerators that they should collect correct data from the field.
Soon after the meeting, field visit of ward no.15, village Janglote and Chak Gutta of Tehsil Kathua was inspected. Schedule / NPR of many houses of these villages were checked on spot by both deputy directors. Addition deputy commissioner was also with the inspection team besides, tehsildar Avtar Singh, Executive officer Harbans Singh, District Coordinator Babu Ram Sharma, Naib Tehsildar Hem Raj & Joginder Singh have also attended the field visit. However some villages/ wards of Tehsil Hiranagar were also inspected. Visiting team expressed full satisfaction on the field work being operated in the district.
