Vikrant, Aditya and Anshul sailed into the 2nd round in the 16th Jammu District Billiards and Snooker Championship being played at Billiards Hall M.A. stadium here today. In the first round matches played today, Rajesh Salathia won a thrilling contest against Mukesh Mahajan by 3-2 frames. The frame score was 63-47, 17-59, 33-55, 62-42 and 68-18. Aditya Mahajan beat Ajay Kumar by same margin. The frame score was 15-55, 48-14, 54-05, 26-46 and 64-50. In other matches, Vikrant Sehgal beat Akhil Gupta by 84-34, 51-26 and 59-19, Aditya Beri outclassed Ishan Gupta by 49-30, 75-30 and 68-45, Anshul beat Sourav Gupta by 52-13, 59-20 and 55-40 and Lucky beat Sahil Aggarwal by 32-46, 77-60, 45-42, 42-51 and 70-43. The second round matches shall start from tomorrow at the same venue.
