| Train for pilgrims from Pakistan | | | AGENCIES NEW DELHI, JUNE 13: In view of arrival of large number of devotees from Pakistan to visit and pay obeisance at the Ajmer mausoleum of famed Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti at the annual Urs beginning this week, the Indian railways has decided to run a special train from Delhi to Ajmer and also its return service to take the devotees back to Delhi. Announcing this, the Ministry of Railway issued a Press release here today, saying that a special express train would leave Delhi on Tuesday (June 15) for Ajmer and its return service would be available to pilgrims from Pakistan a week later on June 22. Besides this special train the Ministry has announced 13 other trains to clear the rush of devotees to attend Ajmer Urs from different locations and on different days throughout the rest of this month. The Ministry release said that the Union Minister for Railway Mamata Banerjee has been taking keen interest in providing adequate number of trains to Ajmer bound devotees heading for the Urs from all over the country and also those coming from Pakistan. The detailed schedule for these trains to and from Ajmer was being announced through newspaper advertisements and those intending to travel to Ajmer for the Urs can approach any of the railway reservation offices to book their tickets, says the release.
