| Quiz Competition held at Doda | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
DODA, June 20: A quiz competition was held at Government. Hr. Secondary School Khellani (Doda) in which four groups of different houses participated.
The group comprised Jasmine House headed by Anil Kumar, Rose House headed by Shilpa Devi and Lotus House headed by Salma Banoo.
About thirty students participated in the competition. Akhtar Hussain, Lecturer in Udru oganized the event while it was conducted by Yasir Arafat, Lecturer in Economics.
Principal of the School Syed Shafayat Ali was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Speaking before the audience, Akhter Hussain said that the aim of holding quiz competition was to strengthen the knowledge and explore the hidden talent of students of this area.
It also aimed at bringing awareness to the new generation about various competitive examinations and asked them to read books of general knowledge, current affairs and related stuff.
Besides the students and staff of the school, the programme was attended by a large number of people of the area who appreciate the School Authorities for organizing informative prog-rammes.
The session was concluded with a formal vote of thanks presented by Balbir Singh Lecturer in English.
