UDHAMPUR, June 20: To get relief from hot weather conditions prevailing in the Jammu provenance & other parts of country hundreds of tourist are thrown to famous tourist spot in udhampur last couple of days & its number remain high on holiday & Sunday .
As mercury has touched 40 to 44 degree Celsius in Jammu & other plains of state breaking all old records of heat during may month hundreds of people are visiting Patnitop & other tourist spots of district every day which include locals & tourist from out side the state also. Thousands of domestic tourists visiting at Vashnavo Devi shrine also visits patnitop & other tourist spots of udhampur district like ,Sanasar, Sudhmahadev , Mantali, Shiv Khori etc . Hundreds of tourists are visiting every day to famous tourist spot patnitop & are enjoying their vacations here with their kids .tough the number of locals is high presently .
Talking to E.T local tourist Vasu student of class 7th class from udhampur said that from last few days it is too much hot in udhampur which is forcing every one to have move towards hilly areas . He added to get rid from unscheduled power cuts which is further addiding peoples woe we have planned to visit Patnitop for few days & is enjoying .Summer breaks in different school of country have added number as here in the state students are waiting for summer break . In view of hot weather different educational institutions have planned organized summer camps at patnitop during summer breaks in schools . Hotels & tourist huts are having advanced booking & it is difficult to get room at patnitop . Tourist were seen enjoying horse riding & making video films with their family members. Rajesh Agerwal a tourist from Delhi alleged that due to heavy rush here the hotel & guest houses are charging extra charges from tourist them. Where as increase in mercury has added problem from people in northern India on the other hand it has warm hearts of hoteliers here who were waiting for such rush from last couple of years .
