AZAD'S POOR HEALTH IS GIVING NIGHTMARES TO CONGRESS MEN, COALITION PARTNERS AHEAD OF ASSEMBLY SESSION

Jammu, July 25, : Senior Congress ministers and coalition partners are worried whether Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, presently undergoing treatment under the supervision of experts in New Delhi, will be able to attend the July 28 Monsoon session of the state legislature in Srinagar or not?
Sources in the government said that poor health of Chief Minister is already giving nightmares to senior Congress men and other coalition partners ahead of the Assembly session.

According to sources,speculations are rife whether CM will be able to return before the start of the session and attend cabinet meeting or not.
Sources privvy to developments in New Delhi said, Chief Minister was most likely to skip the customary cabinet as well as coordination panel meeting held before the start of the Assembly session owing to ill health.
“Poor health of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has already become cause of concern for state authorities as all his engagements stand cancelled and speculations are rife in the power circles that he may be advised by his doctors to prolong his stay in New Delhi and may advise him to skip the cabinet meet before the assembly session”, a senior congress leader said here in Jammu.
"The situation is not clear as yet and we are all waiting for a clear word from the office of the chief minister about the status of his health", congress leader said.
Inside reports suggest that Chief Minister, reportedly suffering from stomach ailment, is in touch with experts in New Delhi for future course of action and may find it difficult to make it to the assembly sessin and other prior engagements.Reports also point out that CM also developed skin allergy after one of the medicines had chemcial reaction.
It may be mentioned that ever since Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad took charge of the office he was working for more than 18 hours with small breaks in between and used to skip his meals owing to his pre occupancy with official work.
