| Ganesh Mahaotsav Yagya Sept 11-22 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 20: Under the aegis of Bharatiya Vedic Sansthan, Shri Ganesh Mahaotsav Yagya is being organized from September 11 to September 22 at Parade Ground Jammu.
This was informed by Sanjay Shastri Chairman and Founder Bharatiya Vedic Sansthan, Jammu here today.
During this Mahaostav, 12 feet long idol of Bhagwan Shri Ganesh will be brought from Mumbai to Jammu for prayers. The yagya will begin with Shri Ganesh Prarambh on September 11 to be followed by Ganapati idol installation (murti sthapna). Special prayer will be held between 6 and 7 p.m. A detailed programme has been drawn for the 12-day function at which prominent learned religious scholars will deliver sermons. The programmes include Gyan Ganga Snan, Shri Ganesh Katha, Krishan Ras Leela, Harinam Sankirtan, Evam Katha daily and Puranahuti on September 22. Sanjay Shastri appealed the people of Jammu to participate in the Mahaostav to make it a memorable event.
