| Interview for SI postponed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, June 20: According to J&K Police Headquarters (PHQ),Srinagar spokesman, the interview for the posts of Sub- Inspector Police scheduled for 21st, 22nd and 23rd of June, 2010 has been postponed. New schedule of interview will be announced later on.Mehbooba said while her heart goes out to the parents and the families of the victims of "cold blooded" state murder, as a mother she can imagine the grief caused to them. She said no amount of condolences or expressions of solidarity can reduce their pain but "I wonder whether it would provide an occasion to the rulers of the state to introspect and feel accountable to their conscience if they are left with any".
She said the young boys were killed for no reason other than belonging to a place that is condemned to be governed by a bunch of inefficient and heartless people who are power drunk and completely cut off from the ground.
Coming down heavily upon the chief minister Omar Abdullah for being consumed by his arrogance and narcissism, she said his attitude towards the people and their problems is out rightly contemptuous.
"While the chief minister is busy with his fun at state expense he has outsourced the state to his cronies, police and security agencies distancing even the saner elements in his party from matters of governance," she charged.
