| Cop murdered by cousin in Poonch | | | POONCH: A police constable was allegedly stabbed to death by his cousin at Mangnar in Poonch today.
Some family feud was alleged to be the reason behind the incident police sources said.
The dead was identified as cop Joginder Singh and the accused as Gurdeep Singh.
Sources said Joginder was at home when Amarjeet appeared on the scene and attacked him with sharp-edged weapons.
Hearing his cries, their another cousin Niranjan Singh ran to his rescue, but by that time he had sustained severe stab injuries, the sources added.
Joginder was evacuated to hospital where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
Amarjeet was arrested and booked under muder case, sources said.
