The Chairman Health and Sanitation of Jammu Municipal Corporation, Vijay Malhotra along with health office Dr. Anwar Choudhary and Corporator Manmohan Singh and Sanjay Mahai checked various confectionary shops etc. in the location of Gandhi Nagar and Nanak Nagar here today. The teams picked up samples at Nathu Sweet Shop and send them for laboratory test. At this shop, they found it that the eatables are not up to the standard. At Nanak Nagar, the team checked the products of Surya Milk concern. They found milk sour and directed the shopkeeper to destroy it. The people of these localities welcomed the step taken by the municipal authorities.
