| Chief patron J&K Pensioners association celebrates 95th birthday | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 23: Jai Krishan Padha, Chief patron of all J&K pensioners association today celebrated his 95th birthday. Since his retirement from government services as assistant director food and supplies in June 1970 he served the pensioners association as its president up to May 2010. As per press release he on his 95th birthday requested and state government especially the Finance Minister, Abdul Rahim Rather to redress the grievance of the pensioners and pay the arrears of sixth Pay Commissioner, in one installment and grant old age pension to old age pensioners after attaining 80 years of age, as has been already done by the central government and almost all other state govt's according to our estimate only two hundred pensioners under this schemes will be benefited. His good health is due to his simplicity, simply dietary habits, regular life style, Bhagti, (Bhagti Pooja) lok Seva and dedication to serve and cause of old pensioners. Credit to his health also goes to Dr. Sunil Gupta Asstt. Professor medicine that is looking after him and other old age pensioners and guiding them on health problems.
