| Kargil Metrology department realizes Rs. 1.30 lakh as fine | | |
Kargil, October 18
The enforcement wing of Legal Metrology department, Leh/Kargil has conducted market checking at different trade centres and registered 249 cases against various traders for violation of Weights and Measures Act and realized Rs. 1.30 lakh as fine from the offenders during the first six month of the current financial year. Besides 8110 weights and measures instruments were standardized and Rs. 17400 collected as stamping fee.
