| Delimitations commission members visit Ang., hold discussion with district administration | | |

To delimit the areas with population for recently created district and tehsil in south Kashmir, the identification of areas is going on war footing. The Delimitation Commission members comprising Mr. Mustaq Ahmad Ganaie Mr. Mumtaz Afazal and Mrs. A. G. Shahbag today visited various areas in Anantnag district.
The members held discussion with district administrations at Dak-Banglow Khanbal. The District Development Commissioner, Anantnag held threadbare discussion with the members and put forth some suggestions regarding the delimitation boundaries for Kulgam district and new tehsil areas. The members said that the delimitation of the newly created Kulgam district and other tehsils would be done in proportion to the population. The committee said delimitation is being done keeping in view the administrative convenience, public interest rationalized and gross root level benefits for the public.
