JAIPUR, June 24: It is high time that tension between India and Pakistan is set at rest. The need of the hour is to start a process of dialogue with Pakistan as millions of Kashmiris living on both sides of the border are involved in the issue, said Pandit Bhushan Bazaz, Chief of the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum.
Participating in two day seminar and discussion on the Kashmir issue titled "Towards peaceful settlement of the Kashmir issue" organized by a group of intellectuals and civil rights activists here today, Bazaz said, "People in the State had suffered immensely because of turmoil going on for last 20 years. This should end now. New Delhi should initiate dialogue process with all groups in the State including separatists. Besides, there should be an unconditional dialogue with Pakistan on all issues including Kashmir. There is need for taking certain confidence building measures, releasing all political prisoners, and revoking armed forces, special powers Act.
