| 3 suspected LeT militants arrested | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, June 24: Three suspected militants, who were part of a module of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) oufit, were arrested by Jammu and Kashmir Police today.
Acting on a tip off from central security agencies, police arrested Abdul Haq, Sajjad Ahmed and Liyaqat Ali from Anantnag district of South Kashmir and recovered six pistols from their possession.
"It was a budding LeT module which was specifically asked to target cops and security personnel. There is possibility of more arrests," a senior police official said.
Further investigation in the case was on, he added.
