| Pratham Darshan Pooja on June 26 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 24: Shri Baba Amaranth and Shri Baba Buda Amarnath Yatri Niyas is going to organise a ceremonial function on the commencement of 'Shri Baba Amaranth Yatra' on 'Jaisth Purnima' falling on June 26 at historic Ranbireshwar Mandir.
This was announced by Surinder Mohan Aggarwal, president Shri Baba Amarnath and Shri Baba Buda Amaranth Yatri Niyas at a press conference here, today. He said that Shri Baba Amaranth and Shri Baba Buda Amarnath Yatri Niyas had invited Governor N N Vohra, who is also the Chairman of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board to participate in this inaugural ceremonial function. However, due to busy schedule, Dr Pawan Kotwal, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, on the behalf of Governor will represent in the inaugural ceremony.
He appealed Governor to perform the traditional 'Pratham Darshan Pooja' on Jaisth Purnima, falling on June 26 at Holy Cave Shrine of Shri Amarnath .
'The Havan Yagya shall be solemnized which will be followed by Jal Abhishek ceremony where Dr Pawan Kotwal, Divisional Commissioner Jammu will be the Chief Guest and Ashok Gupta, IGP Jammu Zone shall be the Guest of Honour of the function.
