| Ayurvedic camp concludes | | | JAMMU, OCTOBER 19 - In connection with celebration of Dhanwantri Jayanti, a concluding function was held at Government Ayurvedic Hospital here today with the lighting of traditional lamp by Director Indian System of Medicines, Dr. Abdul Kabir Dar, who was the chief guest. The week-long free Ayurvedic camp which has been running successfully from October 14 concluded here today. About 3000 patients attended the camp. Average of 10 to 15 patients were registered per day for kshar sutra therapy. They will be taken care of in the next fortnight. MCH immunization facilities were also provided to the patients in the camp. Awareness regarding Dengue fever was given to the masses besides a stall exhibiting medicinal plants was also installed in the camp and the rural masses visiting the camp were made aware about the cultivation of medicinal plants. The exhibition was organized with the help of State Medicinal Plants Board. Medical Superintendent, Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Dr. Bharat Bushan Gupta welcomed the guests and dignatories. Among those who attended the function were Director Animal Husbandry, Dr. Suresh Suresh Gupta,. Deputy Director ISM Jammu, Dr. D. K. Sharma, State T.B. Officer, Dr. Tilak Raj Sharma, Deputy Director Health Services, Dr. Kalash Kohli, Deputy Director Health, Dr. Naresh Choudhary and others performed the Hawan.
