| Ashok Sharma puts forth demands of is constituency. | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER
JAMMU | July 25
Ashok Sharma MLC has urged upon Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad for creation of new tehsils at Taryath and Khawas and according sub-divisional status to Kalakote in Rajouri district.
The MLC also demanded opening of a degree college at Kalakote to provide facilities of higher education to the youth of this far-flung area. He expressed his gratitude to Azad and power development department for starting work on re-electrification of Mithiani area of Kalakote and stressed for starting similar work in Soom as well that would help in restoring electricity to these areas after 10 years.
Interacting with Sarpanchs, Panchs, Party activists and prominent citizens of Kalakote constituency here today, Sharma appreciated Azad for creating new districts, sub-divisions and tehsils in the state. He said this historic decision has brought administration nearer to the doorsteps of the people and would unleash a new era of all round and speedy progress and prosperity of the state.
