| PTU extends full support to striking coal mine workers | | |

President Panthers Trade Union (PTU) Daljeet Singh has strongly condemned the anti workers policy of the government.
According to press release he ahs extended full support of Panthers Trade Union to the striking Coal Mines workers of Kalakote.
He alleged that workers of Kalakote Coal Mines are not paid for the last four months salary and are on strike since last month, demanding the release of salary, cola arrears and release of pending cola in favour of public sector employees for the years 2004 to 2006.
Singh said, that cola of the public sector workers is not release till date in spite of the assurance giving by chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad in a public meeting held on Ist May.
He urged upon the chief minister to get the salary and cola for the year 2004 to 2006 released in favour of public sector employees on the eve of Diwali and Eid festival.
