| Sangam Theatre performs Nukkad Natak on drug abuse | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 28: Keeping to its traditions of doing a theater of substance in Reasi and its peripheries, Sangam Theatre Group has recently preformed a "Nukkad Natak" highlighting the menace of the drug abuse.
The play entitled as 'Nasha Mukat Jewan' was directed by Shorya Veer Sagar whose adaptation of the subject to highlight the nuances of the evils brought by the drug abuse was very specifically directed.
The actors performing various roles include Mahil Bali, Rajesh Singh, Amir Khan, and Rashib Singh.
District Deputy Commissioner Reasi P K Pole and other district heads present on the occasion praised the efforts of Sangam Theatre Group in highlighting the issues ailing in the society and spreading their messages across.
Speaking on the occasion, Akram Khan, president of the Group informed that Sangam Theatre has been performing many stage and Nukkad plays around the state to make the people aware about many social evils taking their toll on the society.
