PSC asked to consider petitioners for Excise & Commercial Tax-I exams | | | early times report Jammu, June 28: Vacation Judge Justice JP Singh in a petition filed by Kulbhushan Kumar Gupta & Ors seeking directions to the Public Service Commission to allow them to appear in the Excise & Commercial Tax Part-I, has issued notice to State of J&K through Commissioner/Secretary Finance Dept, Excise Commissioner, Secretary J&K PSC and after hearing counsel ordered that JKPSC to consider issuance of admit card to the petitioners for taking the examination of J&K Excise & Commercial Tax Part-I, in case there was no subsisting stay against the directions issued on writ petitions already pending in the Court and their result shall not be declared until further orders. ---JNF Mystery shrouds CRPF cop's death early times report JAMMU, June 28: A CRPF constable was last evening found lying dead under mysterious circumstances inside his barrack at Lethpora in Pulwama, Kashmir. He was identified as Satvir Singh, a headconstable of CRPF's 112th battalion. Police sources said he was found lying dead inside his barrack in the evening by his colleagues. A case had been registered and investigation was on to ascertain the cause of his death, the sources added.
