| 'Bring new entrants to make party strong' | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU June 28 : President National Conference Women Wing, Jammu Province, Lakshmi Dutta on Monday convened a meeting wherein she appealed to all the party workers to bring new members to strengthen the party.
She also appealed them to strengthen the hands of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to make party strong and progressive. On this occasion, NC Corporator Rashida Baigum was awarded Bharat Gourav Award for her social activities.
Rattan Lal Gupta, President of National Conference presented award to Rashida Baigum. The function was organised at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu.
Lakshmi Dutta and Rattan Lal Gupta said that they would take up the matters regarding the problems of shortage of water and electricity with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to redressal them immediately. They also appealed to all NC workers to take fast steps towards Panchayati and Municipal Corporation elections.
Others who were present on the occasion include Jugal Mahajan, Rajesh Bittu, Sham Mehra, Satya Jamwal, Manveer Kour, Soma Devi and Kuldeep Kumar. |
