University cricket team leaves for Aligarh

Jammu October 10
Jammu University Cricket team (Men) today left for Aligarh to participate in the North Zone Inter University Cricket competition (Men) which is scheduled to be held at Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh, from October 19 onwards. The team comprised of 16 players from different colleges of Jammu region and post graduate departments of Jammu Univeristy. J&K would start their campaign on October 21 against Lucknow University, Lucknow. Earlier, the cricket team interacted with Dr. Brij Baloria incharge Director physical Education and incharge B.P. Ed course, Jammu University. The cricket team had also attended coaching cum selection camp held in the university premises. The members of the cricket team are as under: Anoop Magotra, Ajit Pal Singh, Vikram Singh, Ishan Sharma, Rakesh Kumar, Amit Sharma, Anil Raina, Gourav Kumar, Mohd. Farooq, Raj Kumar, Ashwani Kotwal, Suhail Ahmed Dar, Atul Sharma, Anil Kumar, Ankit Bakshi and Mohd. Irfan Khan. Pardeep Singh and Surinder Singh Baghal are also accompanying the team as manager and coach respectively.
