A 18 member J&K hockey team today left for Bhani Sahib (Punjab) to participate in the 62nd Senior National Hockey championship which is scheduled to be held from October 20-November 24. The team is being led by Iqbal Singh (skipper). The other members of the team are Surinder Singh, Kulwant Singh, Onkar Singh, Motinderpal Singh, Sartaj Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Amarjit Singh, Satwant Singh, Pawan Kour, Vijay Kour, Gurjit Singh, Mandeep Singh, Dinesh Sharma, Sunil Kalsotra, Ritesh Singh, Jagjit Singh and Amar Kotwal. Vijay Pal Singh (SAI Hockey Coach) and Indpal Singh are accompanying the team as Coach and manager. |
