Natrang honors young outstanding theatre artist | | | Sunita Raina Early Times Report Jammu, July 14 : Natrang honored Sunita Raina a student of the final year of National School of Drama, New Delhi for her outstanding achievements as a young theatre artist. Sunita recently conducted a successful theatre workshop for Natrang and trained the new entrants on the use of body and voice in Acting. Speaking on the occasion Natrang Director Balwant Thakur said that it has been the endeavor of Natrang to encourage rarest young talents of the field by recognizing their outstanding achievements in the field of theatre. He further stressed that youngsters should be promoted and patronized in the larger interest of the development of arts in this country. Like catch them young we need to pat them young. Sunita Raina prior to joining theatre as an actress, has been an accomplished dancer and a singer and has the credit of having participated over twenty National major cultural events. After completing her Masters in Music, she qualified the entrance of the prestigious National School of Drama and became the second girl from J&K to register her entry in one of the most sought after Drama institution of the world. With Natrang Sunita worked for over four years and participated various National level cultural events including 'Jahshen-e-Kashmir-Delhi', and 'Jammu Festival-2008'. Before making her entry in the National School of Drama, she participated in Natrang's Kashmiri play 'Shah Pather' written and directed by the eminent playwright and the director Moti Lal Kemmu. Prominent among those who attended the function included Sumeet Sharma, Gaurav Jamwal, Rahul Singh, Mohit Sharma, Niharaka Sharma, Ekta Kaul, Rohit Verma, Tajasvi Sharma, Aarushi Thakur, Vikram Sharma, Archit Nanda, Mohd.
