Jammu, July 14: An additional strength of 850 cadets has been allotted to J&K directorate and the total strength is 21,630 Nov.
As per press release, Dy. Director General of NCC, Brigadir Anil Gupta the state chief minister, Omar Abdullah has written a letter to the state minister of defence, Pallam Raju requesting to allot additional vacancies to the state, so that the aspirations of the youth could be met. Three vacancies are being utilized to raise new senior divisions in newly open degree colleges at Leh, Kupwara, Sopore, Doda, Ramban, Bijbehara, Samba and Kilohtran. |
