Attack on Hindu boy in Karachi inhumane: VHP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 14: Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has taken a serious note of an attack on a Hindu boy outside a mosque in Karachi who had drunk water from a cooler installed there. Addressing a press conference here today, VHP president Rama Kant Dubey said that the act is most inhumane and needs condemnation the world over. "Fundamentalism in Pakistan is so high that a minor issue of water drunk by a minority community boy can turn the people savage there calls for immediate attention from the world forum to save the minorities there," said the VHP president. Terming the upcoming visit of Foreign Minister to Pakistan as another exercise in futility to reflect to the world about the efforts being envisaged by both countries to make the relations cordial, Rama Kant Dubey has appealed the Foreign Minister to use his office and influence to address the issue of atrocities against minorities in Pakistan with his counterpart. "After the partition, 90 lakh Hindus who stayed back in Pakistan now have shrunk to mere 9 lakh whereas the three crore Muslims back in India have swelled to 17 crores shows the credibility of India as a secular country while Pakistan needs to account for the havoc wreaked on the Hindus there," said Rama Kant Dubey. |
