| 2 killed, 4 injured in separate road mishaps | | |

RAJOURI, July 14: Two employees of education department including a Principal of a Higher Secondary School (HSS) got killed while another employee was injured in a road mishap at Kandi area.
As per reports, three employees of Government Higher Secondary School Draj were on their way to Morha Draj in Budhal tehsil from Rajouri, when the car they were traveling in skidded off the road near Bakori Morh and fell into a deep gorge resulting in on the spot death of Mohammad Yousaf Shah, a peon in education department.
Two others identified as Tasaduq Hussain, Principal of HSS Morha Draj and Mohammad Farooq, peon received critical injuries in the incident.
Soon after the accident occurred, the locals swung into action and carried rescue operations.
They shifted the injured to District Hospital Rajouri where Tasaduq Hussain, Principal was declared brought dead by the doctors.
In another road mishap, a water tanker bearing registration number JK0A-6127
Which was on its way from Thanamandi to Deri Gali for supplying water to army skidded off the road near Manyal Gali and fell into 300 meters deep gorge resulting in injuries to three locals Mohammad Bashir son of Hussain Barkat resident of Azmatabad , Imtaiz Ahmed son Mushatq Ahmed resident of Dhanva and driver Mohammad Aslam of Nowshera.
Police sources said that Mohammad Bashir and Imtaiz Ahmed were injured seriously who have been shifted to District Hospital.
