| Pak considered breeding ground of terrorism: Prof Chaman | | | ET Report Jammu, July 15: In European countries the so called Kashmir problem is not any significant issue but they are worrisome over the menace of terrorism. Pakistan is taken as breeding ground for this extremism which could pose a danger to world peace and democratic values. This was stated by the former Union Minister and the leader of the BJP Legislature party, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta on his return here from about a month long visit abroad. He said that the question of violation of Human Rights being a dogma in many countries, ISI of Pakistan has created a big network to mislead the public opinion. But India is having little to expose this propaganda although the number of Indians residing abroad is far bigger than those of Pakistanis. This is because of the ruling leaders of New Delhi lack the vision and more so, having confused policies on many issues including the boggy of violation of Human Rights being raised by the vested interests to demoralize the forces fighting the cross-border terror in Jammu and Kashmir. About the fomenting of trouble in this part of India, Prof Gupta observed Pakistan's designs are evident that it wants to bring in focus to Kashmir in order to over shadow the main issue of cross border terror. In the situation much depends upon New Delhi that how they play their cards while talking to Pakistan which has little locus standi in Jammu and Kashmir except that of being an aggressor. There is greater need to set things right at home, which he said, have worsened but for malfunctioning of the NC-Congress coalition and childish approach of the leadership to handle the affairs.
