| NSUI holds seminar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 15: With a view to train youth and its cadre for eradication of social evils and preservation of culture, NSUI organised a seminar at Sudhmahadev.
NSUI delegates from various parts of district Udhampur visited all parts of district Udhampur. Programme started with some cultural performances of locals.
Sh Brij Mohan Sharma was chief guest while state general secretary NSUI Arjun Singh Pathania presided over. Programme was organised by district president Udhampur Sh Sachin Sharma.
Speaking on the occasion, Sh Brij Mohan Sharma termed it a good initiative by Udhampur unit of NSUI and said that he will direct other units of other frontal organisations to organise such programmes.
Later, Pathania moved a resolution appealing government to start licensing of alcohol and tobacco products. The resolution was passed unanimously.
While commenting on the culture, he said that it has to be preserved without any hinderance to advancement. He appreciated the role of Udhampur unit of NSUI for organising such useful programs.
Sachin Sharma, district president NSUI also addressed the gathering .
