| Manhas inaugurates Udhay Tour & Travels | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 15 : BJP State President Shamsher Singh Manhas along with party MLA Jugal Kishore Sharma inaugurated "Udhay Tour & Travels" office in Trikuta Shopping Complex on BC Road in presence of a large number of prominent party activists and those connected with the tour and travel industry.
Congratulating the owner of this Tour & Travel Agency, Shamsher Singh Manhas said that a number of facilities like railway and air ticketing, AC and Non-AC bus services from Jammu to other parts of the country and provision of tour packages will surely help the people to avail these services without moving from one place to another.
He said every year more than 75 lakh pilgrims visit Mata Vaishno Devi besides about 4 lakh to the holy shrine of Baba Amarnath and the people visiting from different parts of the country will be in a position to book the rail, air or bus tickets from their places upto these destinations.
Jugal Kishore Sharma expressed hope that the agency will also prove to be a mean of employment to the unemployed youth of Jammu.
He said that the banks and other financial institutions should simplify the procedure for sanctioning loans so that more and more people can avail the benefits and also earn their livelihood.
Proprietor of the agency Tarsem Singh said that their stress will be on providing the services to the satisfaction of the people. |
