MLA sanctions funds for development of Peer Baba shrine | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 15 : MLA Ashok Kumar has sanctioned Rs. 5 lac from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for the construction of a shelter shed for the shrine of Peer Baba at Dhandal village in his constituency, falling in Doda district. He said that this shed could also be used for the pilgrims of Chandi Mata yatra at Galadhar top during the annual fair at Chamanna Mata temple. Ashok today visited Batote town along with a team of officials comprising Chief Executive Officer, Patnitop Development Authority (PDA) Dr. Muhammad Akram Malik, DFO, Batote, S.K. Raina, Ranger Farooq Ahmed, senior Congress leader Janak Singh and other prominent citizens of Batote. The team selected a site behind Post Batote for the development of a city forest park office... He also distributed the engagement orders among the 20 Rehbar-e-Taleem at a small function in the Government City Middle School, Ramban on Wednesday in presence of R. P Gandotra, Chief Education Officer, Ramban and many prominent teachers and citizens. He also visited the aggrieved families of late Rajkumar at Chanderkot and Surajdev Singh at Sawni village and offered his condolence for their untimely demise. |
